Flying beam. A metal structure resting on support posts moving along a crane runway. The span beam has a box-shaped structure.

Console. Part of the superstructure protruding from the outside beyond the support legs of the crane. Consoles at the crane can be two or one, depending on requirements of the customer.

Walking carts. Crane element to which support legs are attached, equipped with an electric motor with a gearbox (with or without a brake). Undercarriages move the crane along the crane track using wheels or special rollers.

Telfer. Lifting mechanism, suspended by means of a running carriage, which has the ability to move around the entire span of the crane and consoles. At the end of the steel cable of the hoist, a hook, grab or other load-gripping device is installed.
