Gantry double girder cranes

Gantry cranes are overall load-lifting devices of the bridge type, for outdoor placement at open industrial facilities. Such cranes are used in warehouses of raw materials and finished products, for the installation of large equipment, maintenance of infrastructure elements. Gantry cranes are also used in the field of cargo transportation - for loading containers onto tractors, freight trains, sea and ocean container ships.

DESIGN OF A GANTRY TWO-GIRMER CRANE

The gantry double-girder crane has a box span structure. Elements of the mechanism:

Cantilever: Part of the span beam that protrudes beyond the main structure and provides additional stability to the crane.

Undercarriages: Devices equipped with an electric motor with a gearbox and moving along a crane track.

Crane trolley: Designed to move the lifting mechanism installed on it, electric hoist or winch along the span of the gantry crane.

Telpher, winch: The mechanism for lifting the load is selected depending on the lifting capacity and mode of the crane. A hook, grapple or other gripping device is used at the bottom of the lifting mechanism.
